From a career in the Arts and then as an Entrepreneur, I was thrust into a world of disaster management on September 11, 2001. 

I worked in emergency management and then as an advocate and collaboration specialist working to find solutions and begin conversations about how we prepare and how we rebuild when the worst happens.

In this time of my life I used the phrase "crisis of imagination" to describe my frustration with why it is always difficult -and continues to be so difficult- to make substantial progress in local and global disaster preparedness... and why it seems to be getting worse. 

I am working on a series of webisodes to showcase the challenges and to showcase what good people are doing to make a difference.
